W V. Raman is an all rounder in every sense of the term. He is a former cricketer who played for India between 1988 to 1996. He displayed multi faceted talent after retiring from active cricket by donning different roles as a commentator, columnist and a coach. He also spent 17 years of his life working in the Corporate sector. In addition, he is also a polyglot with a flair for expressing his views in a captivating manner. He also authored a book titled "The Winning Sixer" that was published in 2020.
He was also the Head Coach of the India U-19, India A teams on several occasions. His final assignment was as the Head Coach of the Indian Women's cricket team. His coaching career is embellished by a very successful track record in terms of titles and blossoming of several individual cricketers.
