At IDBI Ltd and IDBI Capital Market Services Ltd., he played key roles in retail banking, investment banking, and risk management. His tenure at Bank of Maharashtra saw a focus on financial inclusion, including successful implementation of the PM’s Jan Dhan Yojana.
Mr. Muhnot has significantly shaped the MSME and venture capital ecosystem through initiatives like the India Opportunities Venture Fund. He has advised regulatory bodies including RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and the Planning Commission. With global exposure, including work with the UNDP, he is active in ESG, climate finance, and corporate governance. He continues to mentor startups and consults for think tanks like CUTS International to promote inclusive finance.
