Major Devender Pal Singh is a Kargil War veteran who lost a leg during Operation Vijay and went on to become India’s first amputee marathon runner. He has completed 12 half marathons and is a Limca Book of Records holder. Known as the “Indian Blade Runner,” he has represented resilience through long-distance running post-injury. His journey from active service to endurance sport has made him a widely invited motivational speaker across institutions and organisations.
