Manoj Naravane is a former Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army, serving for 42 years before retiring in April 2022. Across a distinguished military career, he held senior leadership and command appointments, building deep expertise in strategic leadership, national security, defence management, and operational decision-making. He holds advanced degrees in Management and Defence Studies, including a doctorate, and frequently speaks at corporate forums, educational institutions, and national and international seminars. His talks span leadership under pressure, strategy, national security, and the financial dimensions of defence. In addition to his public and advisory work, he mentors multiple start-ups and serves as an Independent Director and strategic advisor. He is also an author, with the fiction title The Cantonment Conspiracy published, and a forthcoming book, The Curious and the Classified, focused on military affairs and scheduled for release in April 2026.
