Biography

VVS Laxman is one of India’s most respected former international cricketers, renowned for his technical elegance, mental resilience, and match-winning performances in high-pressure situations. Over a distinguished Test career, he scored over 8,000 runs and delivered several iconic innings, most notably his historic 281 against Australia at Eden Gardens in 2001. Post-retirement, he has taken on leadership roles as a mentor, commentator, and Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy, contributing to the development of India’s next generation of cricketers.
