Nisha Millet

Biography

Nisha Millet is one of India’s most accomplished swimmers and the first Indian woman to qualify for swimming at the Olympics (Sydney 2000). She was a Senior National Champion from 1994 to 2005 and won 600+ gold medals across state, national, and international meets. Nisha represented India at the World Swimming Championships in 1998 and 2004 and won medals at the Asian Age Group Championships, Afro-Asian Games, and SAF Games. Her national honours include the Arjuna Award (2000), Rajyotsava Award (2001), Indo-American Young Achiever Award (2002), and Ekalavya Award (2003).
