Growing up, Debleena loved two things. Stories and numbers. She chose a career with numbers and for over 16 years, worked in Investment Banking, Investment Management, and Venture Capital with companies like GE, JP Morgan, Prudential, Fidelity, Unitus Ventures and Gray Matters Capital, etc. Meanwhile, all the while, over weekends, she explored her love for stories through words and music. Four years back, she co-founded Kahaniyah, to combine her love for data and stories. Today, she helps individuals and organizations apply the art and science of data storytelling to simplify strategy, craft authentic narratives, and demystify the road from data to decisions. She is a published author. Her latest book is a crime novel called A Marketplace for Murder. She contributes data-driven articles on mergers and on Education for Economic Times Prime. She also set up a platform called Chaabee to help students prepare for open schooling certification.
