Suman Nalwa is a senior DANIPS officer (1996 batch) currently serving as DCP (Training) and Principal, Police Training School. She has previously served as DCP, Special Police Unit for Women and Children, the NCR Police’s nodal unit for women and child safety. With field leadership across NCR and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, she has worked extensively on crimes against women, anti-corruption, and gender-sensitive policing. A strong advocate for women’s rights and community safety, Suman brings operational insights into institutional reform, capacity building, and trauma-informed policing.
