Venu Nair, former MD of Shoppers Stop, has joined apparel marketplace Myntra as chief of strategic planning and omnichannel. Nair comes with an experience of over 30 years in retail, sourcing, business analysis and strategy. He has joined Myntra’s senior leadership team where he will be responsible for strengthening Myntra’s existing international brands portfolio, while building strategic partnerships with leading global brands. Nair leverages his 30+ years of experience in the retail industry to mentor and provide strategic guidance and operational support to the senior management and board of directors. He is passionate about growing international and Indian retail brands and delivering value to the customers, shareholders, and employees.
He has also held senior leadership roles at Westside, Tata Trent, and Marks and Spencer, where he demonstrated skills in P&L management, business development, planning, and operations management.
