Dr, Anu Acharya is the Chief Executive Officer of Mapmygenome India, a leading Indian molecular diagnostics company that leverages state-of-the-art DNA sequencing and SNP Genotyping technologies. Her stint in the Healthcare sector began 18 years ago when she was a key participant in establishing Ocimum BioSolutions, a global genomics outsourcing partner. Ever since Mapmygenome’s inception, Anu has successfully pioneered it through growing product lines, and expanding affiliate networks, and has received funding from stalwarts like Mr. Ratan Tata and Mr. Rajan Anandan. Her efforts have won many awards for the company; From the ET start-up Awards to NASSCOM Emerge 50, WSJ's Top Global Startups award, Red Herring Asia and Global, to the recently conferred Pride of Telangana award. She also serves as a governing board member and/or mentor for various high-profile institutions such as the NIBMG, NIAB, IIT Hyderabad, IvyCap Ventures, CSIR, and ABLE.
