Having completed my engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in 1994, I got myself into the Materials function with a prime responsibility of localizing imported components of the car in India. There is a unique and rare aspect in the beginning of my career when I worked for Daewoo Motors and New Holland,i.e., I joined these companies when they were just getting established for the first time in India. This gave me a chance to understand and master the negotiation skills for all the categories in metals and non-metals.
