Dr. Shreevyas H M is a distinguished scientist and Project Director of e-Governance, Government of Karnataka, where he leads the AI Cell and drives transformative technology initiatives. With more than two decades of expertise spanning AI, Machine Learning, IT, GIS, and Remote Sensing, he has pioneered several groundbreaking projects, including the facial recognition system for the GoK Shakti chatbot, large language model–powered citizen service chatbots, and AI-enabled document analysis tools for government officers. Recognized with the Digital India Award 2022, Dr. Shreevyas holds a Ph.D. in AI & ML from DRDO, has authored two AI patents, and published over 20 research papers. As Chief Data Officer and member secretary of the Data Governance working group, he actively shapes India’s data policies and global standards. A Google India ML ambassador and sought-after speaker, he continues to champion responsible AI for governance and societal impact.
