Dr. Sakshi Arora is an accomplished economist, academic and researcher with nearly a decade of experience spanning higher education, public policy, economic research and consulting. She holds a PhD in Economics from Panjab University and is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. A UGC-JRF recipient, her expertise encompasses industrial and development economics, economic forecasting, sustainability, ESG, regulatory policy and public economics.
Her doctoral research focused on India's manufacturing sector, employing large-scale datasets and econometric methods. She has led an AASSREC-funded international research project examining greenwashing and legal sustainability and contributed to research on the economic impact of insolvency resolution at the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
Her research features in Scopus-indexed publications and Springer and Emerald volumes. She has presented at leading institutions and forums, including IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Bombay and ISB.
