Alok Gaur is a seasoned corporate leader, TEDx speaker, poet and author who brings together more than four decades of professional experience with a deeply personal perspective on happiness, success and purposeful living. An IIT Roorkee Electrical Engineering graduate, he has held leadership responsibilities within the Jaypee Group and has also served as guest faculty at IIM Ahmedabad and the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI). Alongside his corporate career, Alok is a prolific poet with over 1,000 poems and three published collections, using poetry and storytelling to explore happiness, personal growth and life. His TEDx talk, “Being Happy while pursuing success,” explores a philosophy of increasing one’s efforts while reducing attachment to outcomes—encouraging people to pursue excellence without making happiness dependent entirely on achievement.
