Richa Chaddha is an actress who works in the Indian Film Industry. After debuting in the comedy film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, she has worked as a supporting actress in several films. Her major breakthrough was a supporting role in the film noir gangster saga Gangs of Wasseypur, where her role as the bellicose and extremely foul-tongued wife of a gangster earned her a Filmfare award. In 2015, she made her debut in a leading role with the drama Masaan, playing a girl caught after indulging in casual sex. The film got a standing ovation when screened at the Cannes film festival. Before entering into Bollywood, she worked as an intern with a Men\'s fashion magazine and Elle. She is the youngest jury member from India at the International Film Festivals. More to this, she is also a professionally trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She has a keen interest in working for the welfare of the animals; and runs an adoption community for pets as well as supports many NGOs. She was featured in the 30 under 30 list of Forbes Magazine and cover of the magazine. She is a strong advocate of freedom for Women.
