Aparajita Amar is the founder of SHLC–Sexual Harassment Law Compliance Advisory, a Certified Sexual Harassment and Workplace Diversity Advisor, and an Advocate. She was honored with the “Exceptional Women of Excellence” award by the Women Economic Forum in 2019. Through SHLC, she offers end-to-end compliance services on Sexual Harassment laws, including policy drafting, audits, sensitization workshops, and Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) capacity-building. Aparajita has designed and conducted customized training sessions for employees, supervisors, and senior leadership across sectors, enabling inclusive and gender-sensitive workplaces. She also serves as an external member on ICCs of various organizations and leads orientation and capability-building programs for committee members. SHLC further provides PoSH e-learning courses and counseling support for complainants, respondents, and ICC members. Aparajita’s mission is to create workplaces that are not only legally compliant but also safe, respectful, and diverse for all.
