Sunil Dayal is an internationally recognised energy, power, and climate finance expert with over two decades of experience across the United Nations, World Bank, Government of India, and private sector. He specialises in financing energy transition and infrastructure projects through public-private partnerships (PPPs), blended finance, guarantees, and innovative financial mechanisms. Currently advising the Infrastructure Finance Secretariat of the Government of India, he authored the World Bank's Power Infrastructure Financing Landscape Study, covering power procurement and financing across India's 28 states and 8 union territories. He has served on the Government of India's Electric Mobility Task Force and co-led a World Bank assessment on energy storage. His expertise includes renewable energy, climate finance, BESS, electric mobility, and sustainable infrastructure. An IIT Delhi graduate with an Executive MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Sunil is also a speaker and mentor, sharing insights on global energy transition and resilient infrastructure.
