Biography

Dr. G. Madhavan Nair is a luminary in space exploration. As the former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Secretary of the Department of Space, he led ISRO to remarkable achievements. He was instrumental in developing India's satellite launch vehicles, from SLV3 to GSLV, and architect of the PSLV. Under his leadership, ISRO conducted 25 successful missions, including Chandrayaan-1. Dr. Nair's vision extended to tele-education, telemedicine, and disaster management systems. He initiated missions like semi-cryogenic engines, reusable launch vehicles, and IRNSS.
