Biography

Alex Capri is a global trade expert, academic, and keynote speaker specializing in supply chains, geopolitics, and the digital economy. He teaches at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and is the Managing Director of CAPA INT’L, advising multinational corporations and governments worldwide.

With over two decades of experience across Asia, Alex previously served as Partner and Regional Leader of KPMG’s Asia Trade & Customs Practice, and held roles with the U.S. Treasury Department and U.S. Customs Service. His expertise spans global value chains, techno-nationalism, trade policy, and emerging technologies.

A bestselling author of Techno-Nationalism, Alex is widely featured in global media including The Economist, Financial Times, Bloomberg, and CNN. Through his work, he helps leaders navigate complex geopolitical shifts, build resilient supply chains, and capitalize on opportunities in an increasingly fragmented global economy.
